John William Dillard

My name is John Dillard, and I graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from the Pennsylvania State University in May of 2015. I have a wide variety of experience across the communications spectrum. This website highlights some of the work that I've done as a student, and professional.

 

I immensely enjoy video production and storytelling, and love telling those stories in a creative way. I have experience in an array of different communications jobs, including broadcast journalism and public relations. I've had internships with WQED's production department, CBS Sports PR department, and UPMC's video PR department. I currently work for UPMC's video PR department as a videographer/editor.

 

In addition to a major in Broadcast Journalism, I have

earned a minor in Entrepreneurship. I have experience 

with starting a big project by helping to start a club called Nourish International at Penn State, for which I was the Marketing Director. I've also done marketing for the Student Programming Association, a club that brings entertainers to Penn State.
